City to Facilitate Young Entrepreneurs

The city administration is going to build some facilities for young entrepreneurs who are just starting a business. They will be provided the office location and supporting facility with cheap price.

We develop such facilities on 1st floor as wide as 1,500 meters for young entrepreneurs

According to Irwandi, Head of Jakarta Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperatives Dept (KUMKMP), a concept that will be built is a Co-working Space in SMEs Mall which is located beside Thamrin City, Central Jakarta.

"We develop such facilities on 1st floor as wide as 1,500 meters for young entrepreneurs," he expressed, Thursday (7/4).

City-HIPMI Ready to Develop Creative Economy

He continued some rooms in the size of 3x5 meters will have meeting room, library, cafe and canteen. There are also some tools, like as cutting machine, embroidery machine, material cutting machine, 3D printer, LED TV, projector and sound system.

"We also provide a training if it is needed," he told.

Thereby those who want to try develop a business can use the place. The construction itself is still under process and predicted to be used in the upcoming June.

"We spend at least Rp 9 billion to build and buy the tools," he closed.
